This is a project I completed whilst working for the Unversity of Kent. ISIS is the intranet for Information Services, a service department providing library and IT support for the University of Kent.

Notes

My role on this project was as lead developer and project manager. I looked after a team of three (including me) developers to take ISIS 1.1 and upgrade it to version 1.2

The upgrade included various bug fixes, new features and upgrading wordpress from 2.1 - 2.5. Some of the features included indexing attached document contents for search (doc, docx, pdf, txt, rtf) and LDAP integration. The system is a relativly large wordpress plugin and custom theme and the plugin had to be made compatible with a new database schema in wordpress 2.5. This required large re-writes of the codebase and scripts required to migrate existing data to the new format.
